I recently returned from 5 days/4 nights at Beaches Resort -Turks & Caicos in the Caribbean. The resort is home to the French, Caribbean and Italian Villages; making it almost like 3 vacations in 1. Vacations are also about spending time with loved ones, and Beaches is definitely kid friendly with a supervised kids camp. Of course, there is the “Shadow Lounge” for Tweens only (no adults allowed), but don't worry it's supervised also. The resort partners with Xbox so there's a game room. By the way, it seems to me I saw more dads in there than kids. Oh, well. Fun is Fun! Sesame Street Characters like Bert and Ernie are present to help your little ones enjoy their stay. There's the ultimate Pirates Island Water Park which is a s p l a s h ! The Water Park includes the lazy river, surf simulator, pop up jets, water cannons, 'splash' deck, special entry for tots and 7 water slides!
There is so much to offer I almost forgot to mention that this is an All-Inclusive Resort, meaning all your meals, beverages, including premium alcohol, are included in your stay. Finally, as I was winding down my stay, I spent one last day at the beach and the water park and who might you imagine I ran into -- none other than Shaquille O'Neal with his family! I also spotted Matthew McConaughey on the beach running with his dogs! These are memories I will cherish forever.
